This week the lab is getting ready to start population cages.

To prepare comfortable lodging and feeding area, necessary to keep our flies happy, we start with cooking large egg-laying plates with the base of agar, organic apple juice and molasses.  The lab smells delicious and we hope the flies will enjoy their luxurious accommodations. Maybe we will even get a Mouche-lin star :)
