Today UNIL celebrated the start of the new academic year and gave awards to 10 recent PhD graduates of the Faculty of Biology and Medicine for their theses. A speech by Pap Ndiaye, a permanent representative of France at the European Council, reminded us that academic research is devoted to the pursuit of truth grounded in facts.
